Rosh Hashannah – 01/10/19
At Fusion we have learnt about the Jewish festival and we celebrated the New Year by colouring in food that is celebrated and we listened to a Rosh Hashanah story! We also used apples and pomegranates to do some fruit printing. The Pomegranate seeds represents good deeds.

Mental Health Awareness Week 2019 💙💚💛 – 08/10/19
We made our own dice with different ways to keep calm and happy!
We created a feelings tree and tied our emotions around it! 🌴🌵
At breakfast club we made put things we were proud of and good at one side of the brain and the other side things we worry about and are not to good at. We spoke about ways we can change these to positive and thoughtful ideas. 🧠🧠🧠
Black History Week – 15/10/19
This week we are learning about Black History and today at fusion we learnt about W.E.B. Du Bois an African American activist and writer who fought for equality and elimination of races based discrimination. She was part of the NAACP (national association for the advancement of coloured people) so we then designed our own logo so for the association based on our ideas about equality.
World Kindness Day 😀🧡 – 13/11/19
Today we made friendship bracelets. We had a group discussion about how to be a good friend and made helping hands!!! 😃😀

Ellie created a fruit salad activity, Charlie organised a Lego colouring craft and Lara B organised a breakfast club Craft. What fab organising 👏🏼👏🏼

This week the children have had the responsibility to take the register (a lot harder than they imagined) 📝 made their own version of chocolate marble cake and had lots of fun being in charge!!!

We learnt how to use chopsticks and transported noodles from one pot to another. Lots of these children must go to Wagamama’s a lot because they all showed excellent fine motor control and focus🥢🥡
