Naomi won play worker of the year and we got outstanding quality mark 2018, as well as our gold ambition certificate! We very shockingly got another £1000 grant from the amazing pro-action and Sylvia Adams charitable trust. Amazing, so happy! we love our job

The children cut, chopped and created the vegetable platters for today’s dinner. We learnt lots of new skills that came with the risks of using sharp knives but we were very sensible. Thank you children!

We are very pleased to announce that during the summer term at Fusion we have raised £400 for Save the Children.

Thank you to everyone who donated for the sponge throwing, bake off, leg wax, sponsored silence, guess the sweets in the jar and den building!

As this was such a success we are looking for a new charity to sponsor for our next fundraiser. If anyone has a suggestion please let us know!

24/03/2017 – Comic relief – Red Nose Day!

We have done it again!!! We have passed the Gold Ambition award, wahoooooo thank you to everyone that helped us get it, we really appreciate it!

At Fusion this week, we have been learning how to iron- a life skill! Certificates will be issued next week and the children have promised that they will help do the ironing at home! Any suggestions for more practical skills we can teach children then please let us know.

The juniors have been busy today learning all about first aid. Ask them what DR ABC stands for and what the two numbers are that we can phone if we need to contact the emergency services. The children were brilliant, listened beautifully, asked lots and lots of questions, excellent contributions and practiced what they had learnt lots with wonder role play! Great job guys! ⛑

Myself and a few members of our team went to the Pro-Action awards tonight.
It was lovely to be given the Silver Ambition certificate that we successfully completed. It was then an even bigger surprise to find out that we were awarded Outstanding Quality mark of the year and were given £1000 grant to spend at Fusion! Amazing!
Then, I heard testimonials from parents, staff and children (that had nominated me in secret) and then my name was called out: I had won Playworker of the year!
I am absolutely delighted. Thank you to everyone for this recognition! it is very much appreciated!
A brilliant evening- 2 awards and 3 certificates later…

What a great success The Great Fusion Bake Off has been. Thank you to everybody who has participated and for producing some scrumpy biscuits/cakes! We have some very talented bakers amongst us!
