Rosh Hashannah – 20/09/17-22/09/17

This week at Fusion we have been celebrating Rosh Hashanah- the Jewish New Year.

The Juniors learnt about the Jewish festival and created acrostic poems about the festival and to celebrate the new year!

Today at Fusion the Infants learnt about the Jewish festival and we celebrated the New Year by colouring in food that is celebrated and we listened to a Rosh Hashanah story!

Today we gutted the pumpkin and decorated it using spray paints and hammer and nails. Everyone loved the risky play and we learnt lots of health and safety rules doing this activity!

Today at Fusion we made our own edible sparklers using a breadstick. We got active and danced to ‘firework’ on Just dance. We read and listened to bonfire stories and learnt how to be safe holding a Sparkler!

We have been busy this week making, baking and creating Easter Crafts. One of the activities was that each group had a different utensil (fingers, Pom poms, straws, paintbrush, pegs, pipe cleaners) to decorate their Easter Eggs! It’s a lot harder than it looks 😂🐣. We created Easter Chicks, little bunnies, yummy Easter nests and even made some saltdough!
