Letter B this week.
We started off with a stone and said things that were bigger than a stone, and then bigger than a rock and so on until we ended up with the universe!
Using bizzy bitz we created a bat, a butterfly and letter B’s. 🦋🦇

Wowza we have had a fun day at Fusion yesterday!

The fantastic John Kirk came to Fusion to perform ‘Dennis the Menace and the Chamber of Mischief’. There was a lot of audience participation, laughter and fun! 🎬🎭

Well done to everyone for getting involved! Here is just a short snippet of some of the fantastic performance!

Today we had a special visitor, Andrea came in to Fusion to talk to the Junior children about bees. We learnt lots of interesting facts about bees, colonies, how honey is made, the preparation of how to look after bees and all about a bees’ life in general.

Thank you very much! We can’t wait for the summer when Andrea will bring in a live exhibition of a hive. 🐝

Today we had our last letter B day. After dinner we had some mindful yoga after a long week. All the shapes we made were to do with the letter B. We also made bird nests 🦅

B- we learnt the skeleton bone dance, played a fun bee quiz and played berry four corners!

Lots of B activities over the past week! We made yummy chocolate BROWNIES, they were delicious! We had fun playing with the water BEADS. We made lots of craft and read lots using the BOOKS and someone brought in their wasps (BEE’S) nest!

Today we are celebrating Takayama Japanese festival. At breakfast club we decorated blossom trees using cotton buds! A brilliant variation 🌸

Today we celebrated the Japanese festival Takayama! We decorated Japanese symbols and explained them, learnt simple phrases and practiced writing our names!

Today we thought of words that reminded us of Japan and acted them out! We learnt what a pagoda is lots of interesting facts about japan!

We tried some yummy honey from the hive and tried on her bee outfit!

Today we traced round our bodies and labelled them! We learnt about different body parts and had lots of fun!

Letter C- Today at breakfast club we playing Clap catch and listed foods beginning with C, ‘calamari and caviar were our favourite….’

This afternoon we decorated cupcakes with our own flavours and toppings🍰🎂. Also completed a fun unscramble circus activity! 🎪🤹🏼‍♀️🎟

Today at Fusion for letter C we spoke about our fears and what we are scared of. We thought of a solution and how we could overcome our fears by being courageous. 👍🏽😀

C= chef! Theo came into fusion today to talk to the children about cooking and being a semi finalist on Masterchef! He taught the children (and adults) to make an omelette! It was egg-tastic!!! 🍳

To finish off letter C week- we had a used Chopsticks and picked up noodles, cauliflower and carrots. We also Hammered nails into tin cans and played a chocolate game – great fun! 🥕

Pumpkin activity 🎃🎃

Today we gutted the pumpkin and decorated it using spray paints and hammer and nails. Everyone loved the risky play and we learnt lots of health and safety rules doing this activity!
