Hello, my name is Shaheda Quium and I am the Deputy Manager and SENCo at Fusion Pre-School. I have over 15 years experience working within education and childcare, supporting children across a range of developmental stages. I hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce, a Level 3 Certificate for Early Years SENCOs, and a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism.
I am particularly passionate about creating inclusive, engaging environments where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to be themselves. Supporting children and families with additional needs is a key part of my role, and I take great pride in helping children build confidence, develop independence, and enjoy their time within the setting.
I will be stepping into the Manager’s role on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave, and I look forward to further developing the provision, supporting the team, and ensuring that all children continue to receive high-quality care in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
In addition to my role at the pre-school, I am also the Early Years Lead at Fusion Club, where I work with children aged 4 to 11.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and socialising with friends, making the most of every moment together. Whether it’s days out, relaxing at home, or creating special memories.
