Science Week

We have been very busy with lots of different science experiments this week.

Check out what we have been up too… here’s one of our favourite quick experiements….

Science Week- balloon and tin can experiment 🔋🔌🎈

When you rub the balloon through your hair, invisible electrons (with a negative charge) build up on the surface of the balloon. This is called static electricity, which means “non-moving electricity” The electrons have the power to pull very light objects (with a positive charge) toward them – like we have done with the can.

Try this at home and see what you can pull along!! 🔌🔋
